BioVision, Lyon

At the beginning of March, I travelled to Lyon to report on the BioVision World Life Sciences Forum for Research Media/International Innovation.

I had a great time and carried out many interviews, with some amazing people. Lyon itself is a beautiful and apparently very forward-thinking city, with fantastic food and a tonne of things to do. The Lumiere Brothers developed cinema there and I had a trip to their Victorian villa: fantastic. I also ended up meeting some great young scientists – and even partook of some dancing with them. Who knew Life Sciences could be such a hoot?
